Here I am!

So, this is my first blog post. Because for once and for all, I should just write it, you know. It’s in English. I have no good reason for that, except maybe that most of the blogs I read are written in English. But I might use my mother tongue when I feel like it (which is Dutch, by the way). We’ll see.
Please do correct my English mistakes!

Anyway 🙂 I will do a vague prediction of what I might publish on this blog:
– silly stuff
– whatever I feel like talking about
– posts on crafting and sewing
– posts on food
– posts on music
– links to things internet things I like
– every day stories in case something happens in my life
and maybe some language stuff, but actually there is also a plan for a crafty blog with my sisters that is still not happening and I was planning to have a separate language blog, but we’ll see how that goes 🙂

What I really hope for with this blog is to interact more with the blogging community and stop lurking 🙂
My second purpose is to keep track of goals I am trying to achieve, the silly little ones as well as the big ones. This might result in book reviews or music updates or posts on organizing, being greener, doing more serious stuff and more fun stuff. But basically this is the same as above, so that won’t be too boring I hope 🙂

One of the reason I have hesitated that long to start a blog is because I have so many interests and feel I might turn off people for being inconsistent in the subject of my posts. But I decided it doesn’t really matter that much since this is my personal blog and should reflect what’s going on in my head, I suppose. I’ll still try to categorize my post properly though 🙂
